Job Description
• Company: Northrop Grumman
• Position: Cyber security Engineer
• Location: Schriever SFB
• Duration: long term, ongoing contract – we are a direct sub to the C2BMC program
• Clearance: Secret, will hold TS if you already have it
• Program – C2BMC
"The selected candidate will be part of the Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications Experimentation Laboratory (C2BMC X-Lab), which is a very fast paced and dynamic environment. The X-Lab is responsible for developing and integrating future-capability prototypes for the Missile Defense System, including Sensor/Weapon Integration, Algorithm Development, User Interface Development and other critical leading-edge missile defense technologies.
Essential Functions:
Responsible for tuning and optimizing cybersecurity tools such as ESS, Elastic, ConfigOS, and Tanium to enhance system performance and threat detection capabilities
Create custom dashboards to visualize security data
Integrate various security products, ensuring seamless communication and data flow across the infrastructure
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to aforementioned tools, as well as managing upgrades and deployments to ensure the latest features and security patches are implemented effectively
Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Cybersecurity, or related discipline preferred from an accredited university and 5 years of experience, or a Master’s degree in a related discipline and 3 years of experience, or 9 years of related experience instead of a degree may be considered
Applicants must have a current active in-scope DoD-issued Secret security clearance at the time of application, which is required to start
DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher (Security+ CE, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, CCNA Security, etc.) is required to start
Experience with Windows/RHEL System Admin including installing, tuning & troubleshooting Cyber Tools to include ESS/HBSS, ConfigOS, Splunk/Elastic, etc.
Experience configuring, running and scripting audit tools
Knowledge of Software Assurance (SwA) static and dynamic code analysis (e.g. Fortify) "
