Job Description
An employer is looking for a TS/SCI ISSM to sit in Arlington, VA. The Information System Security Manager (ISSM) is responsible for overseeing cybersecurity programs in alignment with customer objectives and DoD regulations. This role leads Assessment & Authorization (A&A) efforts, ensuring the development and approval of Body of Evidence documentation, System Security Plans (SSPs), and eMASS submissions to support system authorizations and continuous monitoring.
The ISSM manages ISSO personnel, leads security audits, ACAS scans, and STIG (CKL) reviews, and drives risk mitigation efforts across the system lifecycle. Serving as a senior cybersecurity SME, the ISSM supports SDLC activities, provides guidance on system changes, and leads ATO and reauthorization efforts. This role also focuses on improving team processes and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure systems remain compliant with established security policies.
Compensation:
$60/hr to $70/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
