Job Title: Oracle DBA Data Architect

Location: On-Site / Mark Center Alexandria, VA

Salary: $106,000- $125,000

What you will be doing:

This person will conduct comprehensive HR studies that are extremely broad and complex, as well as proposed solutions to HR problems that are characterized by their importance, and severity. Performs a variety of quantitative/qualitative studies, as needed to identify relevant factors and develop solutions to HR problems that are long-standing or those that have been studied previously. Also, resolves problems and issues that often involve conflicting or incomplete HRD information. As needed, applies analytical techniques that include a wide range of variables. Addresses substantive technical issues/problems that include complex and sensitive matters. Conducts detailed planning in order to gather/interpret information/data required for assessing complex problems and issues. Determines the most effective/efficient approach to meeting customer requirements and identifies ways to improve current services to customers in order to meet management s business objectives. Assesses situations that are complicated by incomplete data, which requires significant analyses. Participates in analyzing the impact of new/revised laws and regulations.

Position Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

  • 2-5+ Years of experience
  • Install, patch, and configure database backups and restorations.
  • Act as the backup systems administrator, performing patch management, software upgrades, and user account lifecycle management.
  • Create, modify, and maintain scripts to automate processes that support the LMS.
  • Create, modify, and maintain ETL scripts to automate processes that support the reporting.
  • Analyze systems resource utilization and perform systems capacity analysis and planning. Document and report system problems, and schedule and monitor systems output.
  • Maintain and provide guidance on IT documentation and infrastructure.
  • Work with the Cyber team to ensure databases are secured in accordance with Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).
  • Collaborate with Information System Security Officers (ISSO) and system owners to obtain and maintain ATOs.
  • Analyze and evaluate data accuracy, ensuring it represents the intent of the source personnel standards. Work with technical and functional experts to identify and correct invalid data.
  • Recommend and initiate system changes or enhancements based on user needs.
  • Coordinate and participate in system release testing.
  • Consult with serviced organizations on reporting needs and process improvements.
  • Collaborate with clients to define project scope, requirements, and deliverables, and implement them accordingly.
  • Monitor project activities and resources to mitigate risks and maintain quality assurance processes.
  • Provide training and implementation assistance to system users.
  • Work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the HRD mission.
  • To support HRD operations, analysis, and system synchronization, the contractor shall successfully execute and manage the recurring data pulls

Skills required:

  • Knowledge in Defense Civilian Personnel Data System (DCPDS) and USA Staffing (USAS).
  • Human Resources Information Systems skills

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree Prefered
