USGI is seeking a ISS Support Analyst in Stone Bay Camp Lejeune, North Carolina to support the C5ISR Capability Development Team within the Capability Development / Requirements & Acquisition Branch with concept development, requirements documentation, subject matter expert support, and market research in support of MARSOC ISS future capability requirements.

Position Specific Responsibilities:
- Familiarize and advise MARSOC senior leaders on current ISS program of record equipment and capability development efforts.
- Assist the G8 in developing, implementing, and resolving capability development efforts across the range of ISS capabilities based on three critical factors: 1) unit skill levels, 2) equipment capabilities, & 3) intelligence collection & special activity needs.
- Continually assess the critical factors and using that assessment, provide the tailored assistance necessary to ensure successful capability development efforts in achieving MARSOC's mission.
- Evaluate and critique existing policies, procedures and doctrine affecting employment of intelligence and special activity systems in support of military operations.
Common Responsibilities:
- Research and apply orders, directives, and policies applicable to capability development, acquisitions, and procurement in support of MARSOC objectives.
- Provide training, guidance, and assistance to MARSOC personnel outside the G-8 in capability development efforts.
- Provide technical expertise and operational perspective for new capabilities and integration efforts relevant to MARSOC objectives.
- Provide support to technology scouting and test and evaluation activities.
- Communicate with various program offices, program executive offices, product line managers, & others, at USSOCOM, HQMC, & other government agencies as required.
- Attend conferences, integrated product team (IPT) meetings, program management reviews, capability development events, and unit contact meetings as required.
- Assist with developing Raider Capability Integration and Development System (RCIDS) requests, MARSOC technology objectives, combat mission needs statements, urgent universal need statements, and requirements documents as required.
- Provide support to the Requirements Officer in capability development efforts involving original equipment manufacturers (OEM), academia, national laboratories, other government agencies, and other organizations and agencies as required.
- Provide support to MARSOC Strategic Planning and Development for Technology Programs and Activities.

- Detailed understanding of the organizational structure, command relationships and missions assigned to MARSOC, to USSOCOM and adjacent SOF components and to the USMC, as well as the knowledge of how these organizations collaborate to achieve technological development objectives
- Capable of interacting with a broad spectrum of personnel to include senior DoD officers and staff as well as within a joint and interagency environment.
- Knowledge of & be able to apply USSOCOM & Marine Corps capability development orders, directives, & policies to complex capability development problems
- Thorough working knowledge of Microsoft systems to include PowerPoint, Excel, and Word; familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint.
- Exposure and familiarity with the following programs of record: SOF technical surveillance systems, Blue Force Tracking (BFT), Special Communications Enterprise (SCE), Sensitive Site Exploitation (SSE), Distributed Common Ground System-SOF (DCGS-SOF), Distributed Common Ground System-Silent Dagger (DCGS-SD), Joint Threat Warning System (JTWS), Special Operations Command Research Analysis & Threat Evaluation System (SOCRATES).
- Minimum, 10 years of combined operational experience including: Any combined operational experience in the following areas will suffice: intelligence gathering or analysis; special activities; special reconnaissance; CI/HUMINT; explosive ordnance disposal; sensitive site exploitation; technical surveillance; sensor network employment and operations; SOF communications; data network architecture.
- Minimum, 3 years of SOF and/or special mission unit (SMU) and/or Defense or Central Intelligence Agencies operational experience conducting advanced physical and technical surveillance training and missions.
- Formal training credentials or formally documented experience in intelligence gathering or analysis, and/or reconnaissance systems and sensors. The credentials shall be equivalent to completing the NSW Tactical Surveillance Operations, MARSOC Technical Surveillance and Cyber Course, the USASOC Special Forces Surveillance Operators Course, SMU technical operator courses, MARSOC Multi-Dimensional Intelligence Operators course, MARSOC Network Operator Course, or similarly accredited SOF/DIA/CIA training course in a relevant subject.
- Experience working with web-based applications and software such as: PALANTIR, Falcon View, Raptor X, Google Earth, C2PC, and Map Point.
- Knowledge of communication architectures utilized to transmit and receive data typical of today's networked battlefield.
- A basic understanding of radio frequency (RF) communication (line of sight and beyond line of sight), RF propagation and antenna theory.
- Knowledge of DoD IT systems supporting common operational picture/common intelligence picture (COP/CIP) tools displayed on graphical user interfaces.
- Possess and maintain a TOP SECRET clearance with SCI eligibility.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a capability development related field in offices such as USSOCOM SOF AT&L, USMC CD&I or MCSC, NSW, MARSOC G-8, USASOC, AFSOC Capability Development Directorates, DIA, or similar
- Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university
