Summary

TTG Solutions is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Data Center Engineer to join our team, primarily based at our McLean location. We are looking for experienced system engineers to enhance our data center management capabilities, ensuring operational efficiency and integrity of our network and computing infrastructure.

Description

Key responsibilities include IT systems hosting and M&E management, optimizing system hosting, developing performance metrics, and conducting data center assessments for power, space, and cooling efficiencies. The role involves providing expert consultation on M&E and hosting matters, maintaining compliance with industry standards, and staying informed on industry trends. The engineer will also provide incident response support and participate in cross-functional project teams to drive process improvements.

Experience Level

Expert Generally requires eleven (11) years of experience specific to the skill and relevant training or certifications

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree and 11+ years of relevant experience
• Experience monitoring M&E systems across Data Centers
• Experience performing Enterprise Data Center assessments to identify opportunities for improving power, space, and cooling efficiencies
• Experience identifying and addressing IT system hosting issues
• Knowledge of ICD-705 Security Protocols
• Advanced knowledge of data center infrastructure, including servers, storage, network devices, power and cooling systems
• Advanced understanding of capacity planning and forecasting data center resource utilization
• Knowledgeable in designing and developing data center infrastructure layout enhancements
• Ability to communicate and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including facilities management, IT departments, and service providers to support business objectives
• Ability to conduct risk assessments and implement strategies to mitigate potential issues that could affect data center operations
• Advanced knowledge in Industry data center standards
• Ability to ensure data center operations are compliant with relevant security and compliance standards
• Ability to work independently

• Data Center Engineering Specialist (DCES)
• Data Center Infrastructure Expert (DCIE)
• Ability to provide data center consultation services to Data Center Management and Site team
• Ability to implement strategies, solutions, and enhancements related to Data Center capacity, environmental monitoring, power capacity, and cooling

Clearance

This position requires an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.

Benefits

Benefit	Details
Base Salary	$189,000 - $229,000
PTO	30 days annual PTO, which includes holidays.
Retirement	15% company retirement contribution. No match required. Vesting period is 50% per year over 2 years.
Paid Benefits	Company pays all insurance expenses up to 8% of base pay. If your insurance expenses are less that that, we bonus the difference to you.
Annual Bonuses	3% to 5% annual bonuses.
Cell Phone Stipend	$100 monthly phone expense reimbursement.
Training Budget	3 paid training days + $2,500 training budget
New Hire Bonus	$5,000 new hire bonus

Total Compensation

Total compensation is the total combination of salary, benefits, retirement, bonuses, etc... and it is calculated using the following formula:

Total Compensation = Base Salary + Benefits Budget + Retirement + Bonus + Training Budget + Phone Stipend

Benefits Budget	$45,800	20% company paid Individual Benefits Account (12% for 30-days PTO, 8% for Insurances). If your insurance or PTO expenses are less than this, we bonus the difference to you.
Annual Bonus	$11,450	Annual bonus, 3% to 5% on average.
Training Budget	$2,500	Annual training budget.
Training Hours	$2,600	3 paid days for training.
Phone Stipend	$1,200	$100 monthly cell phone stipend.
