Insight Global is seeking a qualified Secret Radio Systems Engineer II in support of one of our larger government customers. This candidate will be apart of designing, integrating, testing, and supporting tactical and battlefield communication systems. This role supports both new system development and sustainment of existing systems. Their day-to-day inculdes but is not limited too:
- Designing, integrating, and assembling end-to-end communications systems of systems in direct support of the customer
- Appling knowledge from prior projects and tasking to help define, develop, and implement new SOF communications requirements and capabilities
- Evaluating and recommending communication equipment, services, and technologies across the full lifecycle of communications systems
- Conducting research, analysis, and engineering assessments to recommend tools, architectures, and services that improve the deployment, sustainment, and performance of different communication systems
- Identifying and proposing technical solutions to support communications operations in austere and expeditionary environments
- Providing hands-on support to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve communications hardware, software, network, and system-level issues, including replacement of defective or end-of-life components
- Utilizing a variety of software and hardware diagnostic tools to isolate and resolve complex issues impacting communications system performance
Required Skills & Experience
- Active Secret Clearance
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Candidates with strong academic experience in RF or radio systems are preferred)
- Hands-on experience in:
- Radio systems
- RF systems
- Systems integration and testing
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Experience with SOF, DoD, or Navy communications systems
- Exposure to tactical, battlefield, or deployable communication environments
- Familiarity with SATCOM systems
- Prior experience working in a lab environment supporting multiple, concurrent technical tasks
Compensation: $100k - $140k
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
