Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain complex, multi-tab workbooks to track operational, inventory, or logistical data.
- Collects raw data from various enterprise systems of record and transform it using advanced functions to support scheduled and ad-hoc query reporting.
- Creates programs, methodologies, and files for analyzing and presenting data.
- Assesses complex data systems and programs in support of ad-hoc and standing management or customer requests.
- Validates data for completeness and accuracy based on guidelines set by project stakeholders or downstream data management systems.
- Proactively identify inefficiencies in current spreadsheet models and deploy optimized solutions to reduce processing downtime.
- Develops and executes standard or custom queries or reports to retrieve data as required.
- Performs work under minimal supervision.
- Handles complex issues and problems and refers only the most complex issues to higher level staff.
Qualifications
- Secret Clearance Required.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Data Analytics, Economics, or Statistics.
- 5+ years of experience in data analytics, financial analysis, inventory management, operations research, DoD related analytics with a portfolio demonstrating heavy spreadsheet modeling.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including familiarity with common formulas (e.g., SUM, AVERAGE, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP), PivotTables, and data filtering.
- Basic understanding of Tableau and Microsoft Power BI. Must know how to navigate dashboards, understand basic data connections, and export visual reports.
