Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes work that involves 1)Reviewing and reporting budget formulation and execution activities for reimbursable and/or overhead programs with multi-million-dollar annual value; AND 2) Mentoring budget analysts in developing and interpreting budgetary and fiscal guidance or processes. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service GS-12.
You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent GS-12.

- Perform internal operating budget, technology programs, and customer reimbursable program.
- Develop and execute Reimbursement Policy that dictates partial funding.
- Responsible for formulating, justifying and executing major programs/segments of the budget.
- Allocate funds to individual organizations/programs based on an analysis of budget estimates.
- Monitor monthly obligations, expenditures, and work-year limitations.
- Analyze and interpret budgetary policies and guidance from higher headquarters in formulation, development and execution.
- Prepare reports and maintains records of work accomplishments and administrative information.
- Analyze the impact of new or revised legislation, policies, and procedures on assigned programs or funds.
- Responsible to the supervisor for ensuring that the team effectively and efficiently carries out the work assignments
