The Opportunity:
Responsible for organizing and implementing a variety of responsibilities related to the flow of materials, products, services and associated systems information. Manages the performance of logistics functions including system fault analysis, life cycle maintenance and integrated product support (IPS) of major systems.
Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain accurate inventory records across multiple systems, ensuring real-time visibility of stock levels
• Oversee receipt, storage, issuance, and reconciliation of materials, equipment, and supplies
• Conduct regular cycle counts and full physical inventories to ensure accountability and accuracy
• Analyze inventory data to identify trends, shortages, overstock, and opportunities for optimization
• Develop and enforce inventory control procedures and standard operating processes (SOPs)
• Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and operations teams to align inventory levels with mission or business requirements
• Monitor inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment
• Track and manage inventory across multiple locations, including warehouses and field sites
• Support demand planning and forecasting to maintain optimal stock levels
• Utilize inventory management systems (i.e., COLTS) to track and report inventory status
• Generate reports on inventory performance, stock levels, and key metrics for leadership
• Implement system improvements and automation to increase efficiency and accuracy
• Identify inefficiencies in inventory workflows and implement corrective actions
• Reduce excess inventory and carrying costs through data-driven decision-making
• Improve warehouse layout, storage methods, and material handling processes
• Promote a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement
• Oversee inventory support for field operations, exercises, or test events
• Integrate inventory tracking with maintenance, lifecycle management, and readiness reporting
• Review shipping classifications, documentation, and regulatory requirements to ensure proper handling, labeling, and transportation compliance.
• Serve as a logistics point of contact for international shipping requirements, customs documentation, export compliance coordination, and transportation providers.
• Prepare and submit purchase requests and logistics recommendations based on technical input, operational needs, and program priorities.
• Support audits, inventories, and compliance reviews by providing data analysis, documentation, and subject-matter expertise.
• Collaborate with engineering, technical, program, and government teams to align logistics planning with mission and operational requirements.
Qualifications:
Required:
Professional experience in logistics management, inventory control, or supply chain operations.
• Knowledge of Government Furnished Property (GFP) accountability and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Experience supporting or overseeing the shipment of dangerous goods or hazardous materials in compliance with regulatory frameworks.
• Knowledge of domestic and international shipping processes, documentation, and coordination requirements.
• Familiarity with export/import considerations and working with transportation providers in a global logistics environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Experience using inventory or asset management systems (e.g., COLTS, or similar platforms).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to independently manage multiple priorities and exercise sound judgment in complex logistics environments.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to coordinate with cross-functional and government stakeholders.
• Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI.
A minimum of 5 years experience AS/AA or 2yr Tech School

Pay Range :
There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
