The Opportunity:
CACI is looking to hire an Agile Scrum Master to support the government team spearheading research & development for the US Navy's newest autonomous marine vessels. Empower the unmanned surface vehicles (USV) team working on Sensor Systems Research & Development (R&D) projects and transition the team to adopting Agile methodologies. This position is remote with occasional travel to Norfolk, VA or Washington, DC.
Responsibilities:
• Serve as scrum master to Sensor System Research & Development (R&D) team.
• Mentor team members and stakeholders on Agile methodologies.
• Help team define iterative and incremental development process.
• Coach effective use of Agile tools in a product development environment (eg JIRA, Confluence).
• Work closely with team to identify and define areas for improvement, risks, and roles.
• Recommend paths forward to address problem areas.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and discussions between team members.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or relevant technical field
• Hands-on experience with Agile methodology
• Experience with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence)
• 3+ years of experience in project management or as a scrum master
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Desired:
• Experience with sensor / situational awareness systems
• Experience with naval/maritime systems
