Job Description
Culpepper & Associates Security Services (CASS) is seeking a motivated, experienced security professionals to provide Non-Personal Security Support Services for the 688th Cyberspace Wing (688CW) at its local Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA) in the following areas: Information Security, Personnel Security, Physical Security, Security Education Training and Awareness (SETA) and Industrial Security.
Employment Status: 1 Full-time position available.
Schedule: Monday thru Friday – 7:30am - 4:30pm
Specific Tasks:
• Information Security Program Support (INFOSEC) - Provide guidance when answering customer service inquiries regarding procedures for the proper safeguarding of classified information.
• Personnel Security Program Support (PERSEC) - Manage the daily operations of scheduling customers for security in-processing/indoctrination and out-processing/debriefing appointments.
• Physical Security Program Support (PHYSEC) - Assist the government in the implementation, compliance and oversight of physical security measures designed to deter and prevent unauthorized access to personnel, equipment, installations, materials, and information; and to safeguard against espionage, sabotage, terrorism, damage and criminal activity.
• Education Training and Awareness Program Support (SETA) - The SETA program is designed to reduce the number of security incidents that occur through lack of security awareness. The SETA program assists members with understanding and awareness of their roles and responsibilities in the area of Information Security.
• Industrial Security Program Support - Coordinate with government Industrial Security PM and USAs for the proper vetting and access of assigned contractor employees.
Qualifications
• Must possess and maintain a Tier 5 (T5) or equivalent background investigation or differed enrollment in the Continuous Evaluation (CE) program.
• Subject matter expertise and hands-on experience in one or more security disciplines and experience establishing and implementing complex government security programs and policies.
• Must have working knowledge of a wide range of security concepts, principles, and practices.
• Review independently, analyze, and resolve difficult and complex security problems.
• 8 years of security experience (Security Specialist III).
• 4 years of security experience (Security Specialist II).
• Requires good writing and communication skills, problem solving, task performance and producing finished documentation.
• Provides research and technical support to projects, producing solutions and documentation.
• Monitors project tasks and schedules.
