Gridiron IT is currently looking for a Scrum Master with Agile methodology experience to join our team supporting the development of a customer application for The Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) client located in Bethesda Maryland! Join this passionate team of industry-leading individuals supporting the best practices in Agile Software.
Responsibilities
Exhibit Lean-Agile leadership for a Dev/Ops development team
Facilitate the team’s progress toward team goals
Lead team efforts in relentless improvement
Facilitate SAFe events
Support the Product Owner
Facilitate the removal of impediments
Promote SAFe quality practices
Help build a high-performing team
Coordinate with other teams
Support SAFe adoption
Enable organizational effectiveness
Facilitate preparation and readiness for ART events.
Required Qualifications
Required:
8+ years' experience in a scrum master role, leading Sprint Review and Planning events
6+ years’ experience facilitating Program Increment (PI) Planning
6+ years’ experience leading multiple Scrum teams
6+ years’ experience leading software development life cycle projects
Excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts (such as definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement)
Excellent knowledge of Agile tools Jira and Confluence
Excellent Knowledge of MS Office applications
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Excellent Problem-solving and conflict-resolution ability
Outstanding organizational skills
Degree in Computer Science, Business or similar field
Must remain on the client site during Program core hours of 0900-1500.
Desired:
Professional Scrum Master Certification(s)
IT Infrastructure Architecture and Design Knowledge
Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud Knowledge
Experience leading financial application development teams
Experience leading teams implementing COTS applications
Experience leading teams implement data centric capabilities
Experience using Microsoft Project to manage schedules.

Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range: $109,000 - $220,000 (Compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, work experience, skills, education, certifications, seniority, and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.)
