What We’re Looking For
As a Senior Systems Engineer at CyberPoint, you will lead the design, integration and sustainment of complex cloud and enterprise systems supporting mission-focused operations. You will work across cross-functional teams to architect scalable infrastructure solutions, support secure operational environments and drive systems engineering activities throughout the full lifecycle.
This role requires extensive experience with enterprise systems engineering, cloud infrastructure, systems integration and technical leadership in highly secure environments.

What You'll Do
- Lead cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies to streamline the development and integration of complex information systems
- Provide administration, troubleshooting and general support for Windows Server 2022 environments, Windows 10/11 client systems and Linux distributions including Rocky, CentOS and RHEL across both cloud and on-premises environments
- Architect, deploy and maintain robust AWS cloud environments wile supporting existing on-premises server infrastructure
- Support AWS resources including EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, AMIs, Route 53, WorkSpaces and other core cloud services
- Design and manage cloud networking solutions including VCPs, subnets, transit gateways, transit gateway attachments, transit gateway route tables, Direct Connect and peering
- Provide Tier 3 systems and security engineering support for Splunk-based Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems
- Utilize automation and configuration management tools such as Terraform, Salt, Ansible and Big Fix to support infrastructure provisioning and operational efficiency
This position is 100% onsite and requires an active TS/SCI+FSP Security Clearance.
Qualifications
What You’ll Need
- US Citizenship
- Active TS/SCI + Full Scope Polygraph
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of twenty (20) years of experience as a Systems Engineer supporting programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity
- IAT Level II Certification (eg Security+, CE, CySA+ GSEC, SSCP or equivalent)
- Demonstrated experience planning and leading systems engineering efforts
- Experience with systems integration, requirements analysis, interface management and configuration management
- Understanding of DoDAF, SOA and enterprise architecture frameworks
- Experience supporting Information Assurance and secure systems engineering activities
- Strong understanding of systems engineering lifecycle processes, testing and verification methodologies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary technical teams
What Will Set You Apart
- Experience supporting Splunk-based SIEM platforms
- Experience supporting large-scale DoD or Intelligence Community programs
- Knowledge of JCIDS and DoD Certification & Accreditation processes
- Experience developing complex system architectures and interface designs
- Strong background in Information Assurance and security engineering principles
- Experience leading cross-functional engineering and integration teams
- Experience implementing infrastructure-as-code and automation-first engineering practices
- Ability to balance operational mission requirements with long-term engineering strategy and sustainment planning
