The Opportunity:

The Adaptive Logistics Lead serves as the senior integrator for the Non-Standard Logistics (NSL) Cell, enabling U.S. Special Operations Forces and their mission partners across the Indo-Pacific Area of Responsibility. In this role, you will direct and shape how sustainment, intelligence, cyber protection, partner-nation coordination, and emerging technologies are used to support operations in complex and difficult to reach environments around the globe.

You will advise the Program Manager and mission partners on campaign-level sustainment planning - advising leadership and ensuring logistics capabilities stay ahead of the demands of irregular warfare, gray-zone competition, access strategies, and operational preparation of the environment (OPE).

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the senior advisor to program and government leadership on standard and non-standard logistics strategy supporting campaign access, persistence, and distributed sustainment operations.
  • Lead a diverse team in the integration of intelligence-driven sustainment concepts into theater logistics planning aligned with Theater Campaign Plans, OPLANs, and contingency frameworks.
  • Synchronize logistics maneuver with operational design supporting competition-phase shaping activities and crisis response operations.
  • Direct the integration of multi-source intelligence into logistics posture development, access planning, and sustainment risk mitigation.
  • Identify adversary logistics vulnerabilities, contested terrain constraints, and denial-area threats affecting sustainment operations.
  • Enable and supervise predictive sustainment risk modeling through intelligence fusion and mission customer data analytics.
  • Oversee cyber-informed protection of logistics networks supporting distributed sustainment nodes and forward logistics elements.
  • Lead the integration of cyber threat awareness into supply chain routing, communications pathways, and logistics platform survivability planning.
  • Coordinate and supervise cyber mission elements to ensure sustainment architecture remains resilient in degraded or denied environments.
  • Lead the development of logistics-enabled deception activities supporting operational maneuver and signature management.
  • Supervise coordination of concealment, misdirection, and alternate sustainment routing strategies to obscure logistics intent from adversary ISR.
  • Supervise and synchronize MILDEC logistics effects with campaign-level operational objectives.
  • Coordinate with allied and partner-nation logistics organizations to expand regional sustainment capacity and operational reach.
  • Advise and support multinational sustainment interoperability through combined planning, exercises, and capability alignment initiatives.
  • Coordinate rapid prototyping initiatives supporting conventional and expeditionary logistics operations in support of mission partners.
  • Lead the integration of commercial logistics platforms, emerging technologies, and non-traditional supply pathways into operational sustainment frameworks.
  • Coordinate with Mission Partners to federate sustainment nodes leveraging government, partner-nation, and commercial capabilities.
  • Support multidisciplinary teams responsible for executing irregular sustainment operations across dispersed operational environments.
  • Develop alternate supply chains supporting denied-area operations and sensitive mission partner requirements.
  • Develop sustainment concepts supporting campaigning below armed conflict thresholds.Enable logistics contributions to information advantage and operational access strategies.
  • Identify opportunities to expand sustainment influence through asymmetric logistics positioning.

Qualifications:

Required:
  • Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility
  • Bachelor's degree in National Security Studies, Logistics, Intelligence, Cyber Operations, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience supporting SOF, a CCMD, or a Joint Campaign - and 10 years of experience integrating logistics with intelligence, cyber, IW, or other military disciplines.
  • 15 years of experience supporting Special Operations Forces, Combatant Command operations, or joint campaign-level sustainment environments and 5 years of experience integrating logistics with intelligence operations, cyber environments, or irregular warfare support frameworks (or a combination of 10 years of experience in each, for a total of 20 years of experience).
  • Proven leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams supporting complex government mission programs.
  • Experience supporting distributed operations in contested or denied operational environments.
  • Working knowledge of joint planning processes (JPP), campaign design, and theater sustainment planning frameworks

Desired:
  • Possess an active certification in one of the following:
    • Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) or
    • PMI Program Management Professional (PgMP®) Certification
  • Master's degree in National Security Strategy, Operational Art, Logistics, Cyber Operations, or Intelligence Studies.
  • Experience integrating MILDEC, OPE, or influence activities with sustainment operations.
  • Background supporting partner-nation capacity building or multinational logistics interoperability initiatives.
  • Operational SOF experience or prior service within special operations sustainment organizations.
  • Familiarity with federated logistics experimentation environments or innovation cells.
