DCI Job Requirement for:
Zero Trust SME
Location: McLean, VA
Job Description:
Serve as a Zero Trust Architect
Design Zero Trust architectures
Design and implement security strategies in complex IT environments
Develop and deliver trainings and awareness programs related to Zero Trust
Implement identity-based access control
Secure cloud/hybrid environments
Segment networks
Enforce least-privilege access
Align to federal security frameworks
Direct and implement Zero Trust principles for on-prem and cloud environments
Manage and provide security monitoring and incident response
Conduct security audits and assessments
Coordinate with cross-functional teams
Qualifications:
7+ years of experience in cybersecurity or information security
3+ years of direct Zero Trust principles and implementation experience
Must have the following certifications:
CISSP or CISM
Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
Zero Trust certifications (preferred)
Experience leading security projects and initiatives
Including Zero Trust implementations
Experience with risk assessment, threat modeling, and security policy development
Hands-on experience with security technologies such as:
Endpoint protection, network security tools, threat intelligence platforms
In-depth understanding of NIST Special Publication 800-207
Particularly the principles and concepts of Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA)
In-depth understanding of the DoD Zero Trust Reference Architecture Version 2.0
Proficiency using and configuring security tools relevant to Zero Trust
Ex: micro-segment tools, identity governance, and administration solutions
Familiarity with network security protocols and technologies, including:
Firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and SIEM systems
Understanding of identity and access management (IAM) concepts and solutions
Including multi-factor authentication (MFA) and single sign-on (SSO)
