The Boeing Company is looking for a Contracts Manager to lead the team supporting our National Programs portfolio onsite in El Segundo, CA.
In this leadership position, you will lead the Contracts team supporting a portfolio of proprietary space and ground programs. You will mentor and develop a talented and growing group of contract management professionals while building strong relationships with external customers and cross-functional Boeing teams. You'll both act as a subject matter expert in the capture and execution of government contracts, while engaging with senior leadership to set strategic priorities and drive success in our satellite business.

Position Responsibilities:
- Develops and implements complex and creative contractual solutions to manage risk and support the proposal, negotiation, and execution of programs
- Inspires and manages a team of employees engaged in contract management activities
- Implements impactful policies and procedures while setting ambitious operational goals
- Leads process improvements that drive success
- Cultivates and maintains strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers, cross-functional partners, and direct reports

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Active U.S. Top Secret security clearance
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- 5+ years of experience working on government proposals, to include Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA) compliant proposals
- 5+ years of experience drafting, negotiating, and administering contracts in programs with multiple customers and multiple contract types, such as: general terms agreements, assignment agreements, nondisclosure agreements, purchase and sale agreements
- Experience in Satellite or Space Programs
- Experience with Department of Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) compliance
- Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course "Exploring Leadership"
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 10+ years of experience leading or managing proposal development and negotiating government contracts
- 5+ years of experience with commercial contracts
- 5+ years of experience with classified government contracts
- Masters of Business Administration
