Job Description
Title: Cyber Security Analyst
LCAT:
Ø Mid – 6 years’ experience
Ø Senior – 10 years’ experience
Format: 9-month contract to hire
Location: Remote
Interviews: being coordinated beginning May 18th
Start date: Targeting of July 6th
Rate:
Ø Mid = $57-67/hour
Ø Senior = $68-85/hour
Conversion:
Ø Mid = $120,000 – 140,000
Ø Senior = $140,000 – 175,000
Clearance: Secret (can hold Top Secret)
Education: Bachelors (can substitute experience; Master’s preferred)
Responsibilities
· Manage program applications, cloud migration, and audit remediation.
· Support cloud migration; update cybersecurity documentation per DoD policy.
· Document weekly security updates/patches; conduct software quality code reviews.
· Maintain a Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M) for vulnerabilities.
· Track vulnerability statuses; provide remediation suggestions.
· Support ATO and FISMA compliance activities, including:
· Annual Security Reviews and Control testing.
· Quarterly POA&M updates.
· Generate cybersecurity test plans; conduct risk assessments.
· Participate in vulnerability assessments and scans.
· Align with security technical implementation guides (STIGs).
· Review documentation per MCSC RMF processes.
· Support Cyber Readiness Inspections (CRI) and IV&V.
Qualifications
· BA/BS degree from an accredited institution; MA/MS preferred or 4 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
· At least 6-10+ years of specialized experience in high-visibility/mission-critical DoD projects.
· Preferred experience with Navy or Marine Corps programs.
· Active Secret clearance
· IAT-2 certification
