Basic Qualifications
• Active TSSCI
• 5+ years of experience in software testing and QA with at least 2 years in a leadership role
• Proficiency with Test automation frameworks like Selenium, JUnit, Cucumber
• Strong knowledge of networking and operating systems
• Experience working in a high op-temp, top secret environment
• Experience working within an Agile/Scrum environment
• Proficiency in conducting end-to-end testing of large or complex information systems
• Knowledge of test engineering methodology
• Demonstrated experience communicating effectively across internal and external organizations
• Candidate must possess an active DOD TS/SCI. May be asked to obtain CI Poly in future
• Preferred prior experience with DISA and DISA’s support to mission partners
Day-To-Day:
An employer is looking for a Senior Automation Tester to sit 100% on site in Arlington, VA. The Automation Tester will join a high impact program focused on building and maintaining automated testing frameworks for mission critical applications. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test suites across multiple environments to ensure system quality, performance, and reliability. The Automation Tester will lead and support QA team efforts, collaborate closely with development and cross functional teams, and identify, document, and drive resolution of defects throughout the SDLC. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining Selenium based automation for web, API, database, desktop, and mobile applications; integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab or Bitbucket; enhancing frameworks, implementing TDD practices, and ensuring testing aligns with organizational best practices. The ideal candidate is a self motivated testing professional with 5+ years of hands on test automation experience and at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Compensation: $62/hr. - $72/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
