The Maritime Domain Requirements Writer will provide subject matter expertise on the tactical employment, sustainment, and operational integration of C-UAS systems within complex operational environments while ensuring C-UAS considerations are fully incorporated into the Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP). This position supports capability development, operational assessments, training integration, and mission planning efforts to enhance the protection of critical infrastructure, personnel, and strategic assets against emerging unmanned aircraft threats.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and document operational requirements, capability needs, and performance standards for C-UAS systems supporting the maritime domain.
  • Analyze mission requirements, operational environments, adversary UAS capabilities, and system limitations to identify capability gaps and recommend operational solutions.
  • Provide specialized expertise on the tactical employment, integration, sustainment, and operational effectiveness of C-UAS systems within the maritime domain.
  • Support the integration of C-UAS capabilities into MDMP planning, operational execution, and mission support activities.
  • Assist with capability development efforts by supporting operational assessments, system evaluations, requirements validation, and new equipment fielding events.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, operators, analysts, and industry partners to refine operational requirements and improve mission effectiveness.
  • Identify vulnerabilities and assess threats posed by adversary UAS, including reconnaissance, surveillance, and emplacement-related TTPs targeting maritime domain infrastructure.
  • Support the development of operational guidance, CONOPs, technical documentation, and capability integration products related to C-UAS employment.
  • Evaluate operational feedback, system performance, and user assessments to inform future capability development and sustainment requirements.
  • Support operational evaluations and capability validation efforts for maritime domain C-UAS systems to ensure mission effectiveness against evolving aerial threats.

Qualifications:

Required:
  • Active Top-Secret SCI Clearance
  • MA/MS with 10+ years' experience; BA/BS with 15+ years; AA/AS with 17+ years; or HS/GED with 19+ years.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply MDMP at the senior level, including participation in operational planning conferences, Course of Action (COA) development, mission analysis, and executive-level briefings.
  • Proven experience developing operational requirements, capability recommendations, and integration strategies supporting C-UAS operations within the maritime domain.
  • Strong understanding of C-UAS technologies, system capabilities, operational employment, sustainment considerations, and adversarial UAS Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs).
  • Experience analyzing operational environments, identifying capability gaps, and translating mission requirements into actionable operational recommendations and planning considerations.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with senior leaders, operational planners, and technical stakeholders during planning, coordination, and execution activities.
  • Experience supporting operational assessments, pre-deployment activities, FTX/LFX/VALEX events, technical exchange exercises, and capability validation efforts.
  • Domain expertise in maritime operations, including Army and Marine operational environments.
  • Experience integrating emerging technologies, evolving threats, and adversarial TTPs into operational planning, capability development, and requirements analysis efforts.
  • Experience operating within joint, interagency, and coalition environments supporting integrated mission requirements and operational coordination.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and operational documentation development tools.

Desired:
  • Hands-on experience with COTS multi-rotor and fixed-wing UAS platforms, including operational and hobbyist use.
