Summary:
• Lead the configuration and maintenance of critical networking infrastructure.
• Ensure high availability and optimal performance of operational systems through expert router management.
• Specialize in Cisco routing technologies to support robust and secure network operations.
• Provide ongoing sustainment and troubleshooting for complex network environments.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 8+ years
• Salary: $212k+ yearly compensation
Job Description:
• Design, implement, and maintain Cisco router configurations across various operational systems.
• Perform regular system sustainment activities, including software upgrades, patching, and configuration backups.
• Monitor network performance, identify issues, and implement effective solutions to ensure continuous operation.
• Troubleshoot complex network problems involving Cisco routers and associated infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain network documentation, diagrams, and operational procedures.
• Ensure network security by implementing best practices for router hardening and access control.
• Collaborate with other technical teams to integrate networking solutions with broader system architectures.
• Provide expert-level support for network incidents and problem resolution.
