ASRC Federal Technology Solutions (AFTS) is seeking qualified candidates to support our Air National Guard customer located in Alpena, MI.
This position provides IT Support Specialist support to the Michigan Combat Readiness Training Center. Support functions include Active Directory management, enterprise patching and application management.
This position performs various roles within the IT department at MI-CRTC. Focusing on customer service, maintaining administrative records and managing the incoming communication circuits. This role will also monitor the IT shop email and ticketing systems, be the welcoming face of the department. Answer emails and phone calls, assist with other programs in an administrative capacity.

Core responsibilities are as follows:
- Monitor and create internal tickets via Microsoft Teams and Power Automate.
- Circuit Management maintains Excel spreadsheet, working with local vendors and DISA.
- Assist Primary IT equipment officer with physical inventories of IT hardware. Apply property tags to new IT assets. Maintain clean and organized equipment storage facility. Assist in documenting the check-in and out process.
- General office duties, i.e. answer phone calls, emails, greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate staff member. Perform other general office duties.
- Provide daily updates to the IT lead on number of open tickets and any new deliveries.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or as alternate a High School Diploma with 4-6 years' experience.
- Understanding of Microsoft office products i.e. Microsoft Teams, Excel, Word, SharePoint and use of web portals. Repetitive data entry with a high degree of accuracy. Basic understanding of IT hardware.
- Strong attention to detail for number tracking.
- Autonomous work ability
- Professional and polite communication and customer service skills.
- Eligibility for up to Secret Clearance.
