Job Description
The Network Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the availability, performance, reliability, and security of network systems while providing technical support and troubleshooting for complex connectivity issues.
The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of network technologies, infrastructure operations, and performance analysis, with the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic IT environment.

Key Responsibilities
Network Administration & Support
• Monitor, maintain, and support enterprise network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, wireless systems, and VPN technologies.
• Configure and troubleshoot LAN/WAN environments, TCP/IP protocols, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing protocols.
• Analyze network performance, availability, and capacity to ensure optimal operations.
• Perform network diagnostics and resolve connectivity, latency, and communication issues.
• Support installation, configuration, and maintenance of network hardware and software.
Network Monitoring & Analysis
• Monitor network traffic, bandwidth utilization, and system health using network management and monitoring tools.
• Conduct packet capture and protocol analysis to identify performance issues or anomalies.
• Analyze network logs and alerts to support operational stability and security awareness.
• Generate reports on network performance, outages, trends, and capacity planning.
Security & Compliance Support
• Assist with implementation and maintenance of network security controls including firewalls, access control lists (ACLs), and VPNs.
• Support vulnerability remediation and security hardening activities.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to identify and mitigate network-related threats.
• Ensure network infrastructure complies with organizational standards and security policies.

Required Qualifications
• Active TS/SCI required.
• Certifications: IAM certification
• Familiarity with zero-trust architecture, identity and access management (IAM)
• Familiarity with cloud networking environments such as AWS or Azure.
• Experience with cloud security platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory architecture, Microsoft Azure, and Microsoft 365, including security configurations, integration, and management.
• Extensive experience supporting DoDIN WS mission operations and cybersecurity initiatives.
• Multi-factor authentication (MFA), and endpoint security best practices.
• Deep understanding of DoD cyber defense operations, including policies, procedures, and compliance requirements under JFHQ-DoDIN and AFCYBER orders.
• Experience working with enterprise IT security frameworks, risk management, and incident response within a DoD environment.
• Ability to interpret and apply DoD directives, policies, and cybersecurity strategies to operational requirements.
