Position Overview: The Technical Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, screening, and securing highly skilled government contracting professionals for both confirmed and potential contract opportunities across the United States and overseas. —particularly cleared professionals (Secret/TS/SCI), software engineers, cloud architects, cybersecurity specialists, data scientists, geospatial experts, and other mission-critical technologists—to support the company's growth and delivery of high-impact solutions for U.S. Special Operations Forces (SOF), SOCOM, DoD, and the Intelligence Community in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment where priorities shift rapidly based on client needs.
As a specialized member of the talent acquisition team, the Technical Recruiter uses a wide range of recruitment tools and strategies to focus on full-cycle recruiting for technical and engineering roles, building strong candidate pipelines through proactive sourcing, conducting thorough interviews, to evaluate technical and experiential fit, and preparing detailed candidate profiles for client review. They will partner closely with hiring managers and technical leaders. The role requires ongoing candidate communication to ensure a positive candidate experience and the ability to influence and build strong relationships with diverse personality types.
The Technical Recruiter must be capable of managing urgent and evolving tasks, maintaining organized workflows, and delivering exceptional service—particularly to Veteran and military communities. Success in this role requires strong communication skills, professionalism, and a demonstrated ability to execute recruitment strategies effectively within the government contracting domain. Occasional travel may be required for trade shows or client engagements.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Utilizes multiple recruitment tools and strategies to attract skilled and experienced government contracting professionals for confirmed and/or potential government contract opportunities nationwide/overseas.
Prepares high volume call lists daily for next day recruiting engagement.
Interviews and evaluates candidates to match skills and experience to client needs.
Prepares qualified candidate profiles for presentation to the client and maintain ongoing communication with candidate.
Must be able to operate within tight deadlines.
Must be able to prioritize work based on urgency; tasks can change hourly depending on the client’s needs or new opportunities.
Occasional travel for Trade Show events or client visits may be required.

Required Experience and Qualifications:
3+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience, with significant focus on cleared (Secret/TS/SCI), engineering, cybersecurity, software development, cloud, or data science roles
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred; equivalent experience accepted.
Active DoD Secret clearance required; TS/SCI strongly preferred.
Proven ability to execute recruiting strategies
Strong knowledge of technical skill sets (e.g., cloud platforms, AI/ML, DevSecOps, geospatial tools), federal contractor compliance (OFCCP, VEVRAA, EEO), and cleared hiring processes.
Proven ability to communicate with different candidates and hiring managers personality types
Proficiency with ATS platforms (ADP, iCIMS, Workday), LinkedIn Recruiter, and sourcing tools.
Must possess excellent communication skills (both oral and written)
Must have clear crime and credit
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
Experience in/understanding of Military Operations
Proven success recruiting cleared defense, government contracting, or cleared technical talent strongly preferred.
Understanding of IT topics
Understanding of U.S. Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) topics
Familiarity of U.S. Military rank structure
Relevant certifications (e.g., AIRS CIR, LinkedIn Recruiter Certification, SHRM-CP) a plus.
Proficient in interviewing techniques
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with an online recruitment system
