Platform Engineer

Insight Global is actively hiring 15+ highly skilled TS/SCI Cleared Platform Engineers to join our team in Gaithersburg Maryland supporting a brand new Program supporting the DoW and CDAO.

The selected candidates will work on a team responsible to design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable platform solutions that enable development teams to efficiently deliver and operate applications. This role focuses on creating internal platforms, tooling, and infrastructure that simplify software delivery and improve developer productivity.

Candidates should have a strong background in Cloud Platforms, Kubernetes Clusters, Data Platforms, CI/CD Pipelines and Infrastructure as a Code; focusing on reliability, scalability and standardization.

All Candidates MUST HAVE an Active TS/SCI Clearance to be considered.

Minimum job requirements include:

- Active TS/SCI Clearance with the ability to obtain a CI Polygraph
- Bachelors Degree and 5+ years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering
- Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker or similar containerization & orchestration tools
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code - Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible
- Experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
- Experience building and maintaining automated deployment pipelines
- Strong scripting experience with Python, Bash, Go, etc.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog)

Insight Global is hiring multiple candidates at varying degrees of experience so pay will vary based on experience, clearance, and expertise. However, we anticipate paying 140K - 220K for these openings as well as providing health, vision, dental, and 401K benefits.
