Imagery Scientist - Expert Level (5) (18+ yrs experience) - NGA Springfield, VA
Salary Range: $185-195k
Electro-Optical (EO)
Clearance Level - TS/SCI
CI Poly Required immediately after starting
Required:
6+ years of experience as an EO expert with understanding of collection, phenomenology, image formation process, and exploitation products
Experience exploiting EO to determine the occurrence and location of an OOI
Experience developing, testing, and evaluating new algorithms, processes, methodologies, and products using EO imagery with tools like Python, MATLAB, Google Earth Engine
Experience communicating with technical and non-technical audiences about the availability and capabilities of EO
Deep understanding of the principles of remote sensing and imagery processing and advanced exploitation methods
Desired: Experience applying CV and machine learning to EO imagery
Salary Range: $185-195k
