Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law. Responsibilities
- Supports modeling, simulation, data analysis, and technical studies for DoD customers.
- Helps build and update models of tactical scenarios, platforms, sensors, mission environments, and system performance.
- Uses simulation tools, coding, and data analysis methods to compare system performance and support trade studies.
- Supports mission-level analysis and other analytic efforts to identify trends, impacts, and performance drivers.
- Assists with charts, reports, briefings, and other technical products for government customers and decision-makers.
- Works with analysts, engineers, and subject matter experts to gather information, document assumptions, and review results.
- Applies coursework and technical skills in modeling and simulation, statistics, data analysis, programming, or related areas to real-world defense challenges.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Modeling and Simulation, Data Science, Engineering, Operations Research, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Physics, or a related technical field.
- Coursework or experience in modeling and simulation, statistics, data analysis, programming, mathematical modeling, operations research, machine learning, or optimization.
- Familiarity with technical tools or programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, R, C++, Java, SQL, or similar tools.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills, ability to work as part of a technical team, and ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
