Insight Global is seeking a qualified Top Secret Senior Systems Engineer in support of one of our large federal clients in Lexington Park, MD. This candidate will be supporting mission-critical efforts focused on the engineering, integration, modification, and sustainment of C5ISR systems across vehicles and operational platforms. Their day to day will include but is not limited to:
• Leading a technical engineering team supporting mission critical DoD systems and platforms
• Performing systems engineering analysis, requirements definition, and solution development
• Supporting logistics planning and Test & Evaluation (T&E) activities
Required Skills & Experience
• Active Top Secret Clearance
• 10+ years of experience as a Systems Engineering within a Navy or other DoD organizations
• Master’s Degree in Engineering. Mathematics or other technical fields
Compensation: $160k - $180k
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
• Identifying and supporting projects involving fabrication, integration, modification, and sustainment of fielded and legacy mission systems
• Planning and supporting kitting, installation activities, engineering changes, and checkout procedures
• Providing systems engineering support for vehicle mounted and deployed communications, sensing, and mission systems
• Developing Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and supporting developmental testing and hardware/material tracking
• Conducting and reviewing site surveys to identify system requirements and operational constraints, including space, security, environment, and human factors
• Supporting system architecture design and integration of new and emerging technologies
• Developing and updating technical documentation, drawings, and material lists
• Participating in technical reviews, configuration audits, and engineering design meetings
• Supporting the development of DoD technical and programmatic documentation
• Coordinating with government program offices and mission partners to ensure system performance and operational readiness
