Image Scientist (Expert, Senior, Mid-Level) 117-117

Imagery Scientist (Expert, Senior and Mid-Level) will identify and acquire imagery in support of Level 3 Accreditation-the application of the AI algorithm to operational imagery data sets to ensure it works as intended-efforts. Successful candidates will serve as experts in their respective image modality and prepare imagery of the necessary quality, standards, and requirements. They will develop solutions that are informed by the specific phenomenology limitations and advantages of the sensors and platforms.

Imagery Scientist - SAR Expert

Required:

• 6+ years of experience as a SAR expert with understanding of collection, phenomenology, image formation process, and exploitation products
• Experience with SARPy and Matlab SAR toolbox
• Experience with RNIIS, information theoretic-based image quality metrics, SAR imagery quality metrics, and sensor metadata (e.g., graze, squint)
• Experience exploiting SAR to determining the occurrence and location of an OOI
• Experience developing, testing, and evaluating new algorithms, processes, methodologies, and products using SAR imagery with tools like Python, MATLAB, Google Earth Engine
• Experience communicating with technical and non-technical audiences about the availability and capabilities of SAR
• Deep understanding of the principles of remote sensing and imagery processing and advanced exploitation methods

Imagery Scientist - SAR Senior

Required:

• 4+ years of experience as a SAR expert with understanding of collection, phenomenology, image formation process, and exploitation products
• Experience with SAR imagery quality metrics and sensor metadata
• Experience exploiting SAR to determining the occurrence and location of OOI
• Experience communicating with technical and non-technical audiences about the availability and capabilities of SAR
• Exhibit an understanding of the principles of remote sensing and imagery processing and advanced exploitation methods

Desired:

• Experience applying CV and machine learning to SAR imagery

Imagery Scientist - SAR Middle

Required:

• Experience with SAR imagery analytical products and conducting multi-INT analysis
• Experience using unstructured, structured, and semi-structured data and visualization tools to exploit data through use of programming and scripting
• Experience applying advanced geospatial skills

Desired:

• Experience working with or developing machine learning algorithms for exploiting overhead imagery and/or motion imagery

Imagery Scientist - EO Expert

Required:

• 6+ years of experience as an EO expert with understanding of collection, phenomenology, image formation process, and exploitation products
• Experience exploiting EO to determine the occurrence and location of an OOI
• Experience developing, testing, and evaluating new algorithms, processes, methodologies, and products using EO imagery with tools like Python, MATLAB, Google Earth Engine
• Experience communicating with technical and non-technical audiences about the availability and capabilities of EO

Required:

Security Clearance:

• Current TS/SCI and the willingness to sit for a polygraph, if needed
