Job Summary:

The Future Threats / Acquisition Support Analyst shall provide ACC capability development and acquisition intelligence support through tailored intelligence assessments of future adversary capabilities and emerging threats. The contractor will support weapon system teams (WSTs), ACC/A5/8/9, and senior leadership by delivering timely, relevant, and actionable intelligence analysis to inform force modernization, requirements development, and acquisition decision-making.

This role requires integration of intelligence tradecraft with acquisition processes, including support to JCIDS documentation, Intelligence Mission Data (IMD) requirements, and intelligence supportability analysis across ACC-led weapon systems.

Essential Functions:

  • Provide tailored intelligence analysis on future adversary capabilities, threats, and trends to support ACC capability development and modernization efforts.
  • SME level experience, 15+ years in SIGINT/ELINT disciplines directly impacting USAF DCGS mission areas.
  • Support development of JCIDS documentation (e.g., ICDs, CDDs), Capabilities Based Assessments (CBAs), and Analysis of Alternatives (AoAs), ensuring compliance with DoD and USAF guidance.
  • Conduct intelligence supportability analysis, including identification and assessment of Intelligence Mission Data (IMD) requirements for ACC weapon systems.
  • Engage with USAF organizations (Air Staff, AFMC, MAJCOM A2s), Joint Staff, and Intelligence Community partners (e.g., DIA, NASIC, NSA, CIA) to coordinate and refine intelligence requirements.
  • Provide written products, briefings, and assessments to division, directorate, and command-level leadership.
  • Apply advanced analytic techniques and multi-source intelligence to develop predictive threat assessments and inform decision-making.
  • Assist in developing standards and quality control measures to ensure intelligence products meet IC tradecraft standards.
  • Analyze DoD policy, acquisition documentation, and program materials for consistency, accuracy, and impact to ACC capability development responsibilities.
  • Support GIISR core function activities and provide intelligence input to planning, programming, and operational efforts.

Position Requirements

Knowledge Skills and Experience:

  • Active TS/SCI government security clearance.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in intelligence-related disciplines supporting Air Force systems or operations.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting intelligence aspects of acquisition, capability development, or requirements integration.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working with ISR or intelligence systems (e.g., AF DCGS, collection platforms, targeting systems).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project and/or program management.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply intelligence tradecraft, analytic methodologies, and research principles to complex problem sets.
  • Experience working with multi-source intelligence systems and databases.
  • Ability to work independently with limited government oversight and function effectively within a team environment.
  • Experience working at MAJCOM, NAF, Air Staff, or Joint Staff level preferred.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Intelligence, International Studies, or related field.
