Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Algorithm/Embedded Engineer to develop advanced performance algorithms and transform complex sensor data into meaningful, actionable outputs. This role is ideal for candidates with strong foundations in signal processing, physics, acoustics, or GNC, and who thrive at the intersection of modeling, simulation, and real‑world system integration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize performance algorithms for next‑generation systems.
- Convert raw sensor data into reliable, actionable insights.
- Conduct modeling and simulation to evaluate system behavior and algorithm performance.
- Integrate algorithms into hardware and software systems, ensuring seamless end‑to‑end functionality.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams to validate, test, and refine algorithmic solutions.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related technical field.
- Proven industry experience in algorithm design and development.
- Hands‑on experience in signal processing, guidance/navigation/control (GNC), or simulation environments.
- Exposure to RF, sonar, or acoustic systems and related domain challenges.
- Strong proficiency in C++ for algorithm implementation and system integration.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance (active clearance strongly preferred).
Preferred Background:
- Experience working in medical device, physics‑based, or acoustics‑driven product environments.
- Demonstrated ability to work on complex, multi‑disciplinary engineering problems.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical solutions.
Compensation:
This role offers a competitive salary range of $130,000–$185,000, commensurate with experience, technical depth, and clearance level. A comprehensive benefits package is also included, covering health, retirement, and additional employee support programs.
