Overview:
We are seeking an experienced FPGA Design Engineer to support the development of advanced missile system technologies. This role involves hands‑on FPGA logic design, VHDL development, and verification activities that directly support control, guidance, and algorithm execution within mission‑critical systems. Candidates with strong digital design backgrounds and familiarity with modern FPGA toolchains will excel here.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and verify FPGA logic for missile system applications.
- Develop high‑quality VHDL code for deployment into FPGA devices.
- Support control, guidance, and algorithm execution within embedded missile architectures.
- Perform FPGA design, simulation, and verification, ensuring robust performance under mission conditions.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams to integrate FPGA solutions into larger system designs.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience level aligned 2+ / 5+ / 8+ years of relevant experience).
- Active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one.
- Strong, hands‑on FPGA development background.
- Proficiency in VHDL for FPGA design.
- Demonstrated experience in FPGA design and verification workflows.
Preferred Background:
- SAP eligibility is highly preferred.
- Computer Engineering degrees are especially strong fits.
- Experience with tools such as Vivado, Linux, QuestaSim, ASIC flows, and UVM methodologies.
- Ability to work in fast‑paced, mission‑driven engineering environments.
Compensation:
This position offers a competitive salary range of $100,000–$175,000, depending on experience level, technical expertise, and clearance status. A full benefits package is included, covering health, retirement, and additional employee support programs.
