Jefferson is seeking an Information System Security Manager (ISSM) to support the United States Air Force 505 th TTG Program. Hiring is contingent upon successful award of the proposal.

This role will be Onsite at Hurlburt Field, Florida. This position requires that applicants reside in the United States and have legal authorization to work in the U.S. Applicants must maintain U.S. residency for the duration of their employment.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the principal advisor for the security of assigned information systems, ensuring they comply with all applicable policies and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain a formal security program, performing risk assessments, managing the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process, and overseeing system security accreditation, audits, and continuous monitoring .
  • Develop, implement, and maintain the overall information system security program, including policies, procedures, and plans
  • Conduct risk and vulnerability assessments, monitor for threats, and develop or implement security measures to mitigate identified risks.
  • Perform ongoing monitoring, conduct periodic security audits, and ensure system recovery processes are in place
  • Ensure systems are compliant with all relevant policies, standards, and directives, including DISA STIGs and RMF
  • Provide expert input on cybersecurity requirements during system design and changes and evaluate the security impact of system modifications.
  • Work closely with system administrators, government managers, and other stakeholders to maintain a strong security posture

Required Qualifications:

  • This role requires strong expertise in DoD and NIST security policies, experience with different levels of classification,
  • Active TS//SCI Clearance.
  • Strong understanding of RMF, DoD and NIST policies, DISA STIGs, system audit principles, and network infrastructure is crucial.
  • Must meet certification requirements outlined in DoD Directive 8570.01-M for an Information Assurance Manager.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Leadership and coordination experience with
          • Cybersecurity authority for assigned systems or enclaves
          • Advising commanders, program managers, or executives on cyber risk and impacts
          • Lead and mentor ISSOs and security staff
          • Coordinate with network, cyber defense, and system engineering teams
  • 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity or information assurance
  • Experience serving as an ISSM or Senior ISSO
  • Experience supporting classified systems
