Job Summary
Galapagos Federal Systems LLC is seeking a highly capable, strategic, and proactive professional to serve as Chief of Staff Support. This role is critical to enhancing organizational effectiveness by driving execution of leadership priorities, managing cross-functional initiatives, and optimizing senior leader engagement. The ideal candidate will translate strategy into action-serving as a central operational integrator who bridges organizational gaps, enforces accountability, and ensures alignment across the enterprise.
The Chief of Staff Support will directly assist the PAE in executing the Director's vision and strategic priorities. Responsibilities include managing high-visibility, cross-functional efforts; establishing and maintaining an effective battle rhythm; and serving as a key liaison to executive-level stakeholders across external organizations. This role also supports decision-making processes for PAE leadership by coordinating inputs, synthesizing information, and ensuring consistent alignment with organizational goals and mission objectives.

Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time and typing and reading from a computer screen. The candidate must have enough mobility, including bending, reaching, and kneeling, to complete daily duties in a prompt and efficient manner, and that may include lifting up to thirty pounds, as necessary.

Key Responsibilities
The Chief of Staff Support will:
- Track, manage, and respond to high priority taskings from SECAF, CSO, DAF RCO, and SAF/SQ leadership
- Develop executive-level briefings, information papers, decision packages, and staff summary sheets (SSSs)
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to collect data, synthesize inputs, and deliver consolidated responses
- Maintain and manage the organizational action tracking system, ensuring accuracy, visibility, and on-time task completion
- Prepare read-ahead materials and support senior leader engagements, briefings, and high-level meetings
Requirements
Skills and Experience
The Chief of Staff Support must have:
- Active TS/SCI clearance
- 7+ years of experience supporting DoD staff organizations or program offices
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent, high-visibility taskings in fast-paced environments
- Strong written communication and analytical skills, with experience developing executive-level products
- Familiarity with DoD and U.S. Space Force governance, staffing, and coordination processes
- Prior U.S. Air Force or U.S. Space Force active duty or civilian experience
- Experience supporting SAF, HQ USSF, or equivalent headquarters-level staff
- Familiarity with MILSATCOM, space acquisition programs, or Rapid Capabilities Office (RCO) environments
Education and Certifications
