Job Summary
Galapagos Federal Systems LLC is seeking a highly capable, strategic, and proactive professional to serve as a Senior Strategy Cell Lead. This role provides senior-level advisory support, leveraging data-driven analysis to inform strategic decision-making, policy development, and operational execution. The Senior Strategy Cell Lead serves as a critical link between leadership intent and mission execution, ensuring initiatives are aligned with organizational priorities, compliance requirements, and industry best practices while enabling effective cross-functional collaboration.
In this role, the Senior Strategy Cell Lead directly supports senior PAE leadership within the Strategy Cell, leading the development of organizational strategy, strategic plans, and long-range planning efforts. Responsibilities include identifying emerging trends, assessing organizational posture, and developing actionable options and recommendations to inform executive decision-making. This position plays a central role in shaping strategic direction, synchronizing efforts across the enterprise, and ensuring alignment between near-term actions and long-term objectives.

Key Responsibilities
The Senior Strategy Cell Lead will:
- Lead the development of enterprise-level strategic plans, road maps, and long-range organizational objectives
- Translate senior leadership intent into actionable strategies, frameworks, and executable initiatives
- Coordinate with key stakeholders across DAF RCO, Space Systems Command (SSC), and OSD to ensure alignment of strategic direction
- Develop and deliver strategic assessments, white papers, and executive-level decision briefs
- Support war gaming activities, strategic reviews, and capability gap analyses to inform future force design and investment decisions
Requirements
Skills and Experience
The Senior Strategy Cell Lead must have:
- Active TS/SCI clearance
- 12+ years of experience in DoD strategic planning, policy development, or acquisition environments
- Demonstrated success in developing and implementing organizational-level strategies
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience briefing senior leaders
- Prior experience supporting AFSPC, U.S. Space Force, OSD, or Joint Staff organizations
- Familiarity with space systems acquisition strategy and Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) processes
- Completion of senior-level Professional Military Education (e.g., Air War College, Industrial College of the Armed Forces, or equivalent)
