The Opportunity:
CACI has an immediate opening for a Linux-based Senior Network Engineer supporting systems on our corporate development/test network as well as fielded systems. This position will be physically located in Sarasota, FL. In this position, the individual will work under general direction and will assist the program by developing and incorporating new network plans, designs and components into systems in ongoing operations. You will also evaluate new design alternatives that consider life cycle cost, reuse, complexity, risk and, expansion capability in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. You will be accountable for the technical integrity of work performed and the deliverables associated with your assigned system. Additionally, you will identify and communicate risks to cost and schedule and determine alternate courses of action, workarounds, and fallback positions at appropriate milestones using prior experience and Earned Value Management (EVM) data from the Control Account Manager (CAM) as needed. Finally, you will help to improve standard integration strategies and best-practice knowledge based upon rationale that resulted in improved integration performance.
Some Continental US and International travel may be required up to 10% as well as periodic trips for surge support.

Responsibilities:
Participate in network design, hardware and software integration/configuring, documentation, hardening, testing and delivery that meet the functional requirements of the system.
• Perform local and remote fault-isolation of networks for ground-based satellite systems and software working with various stakeholders to reach resolution
• Define the methods, processes, and evaluation criteria by which the network systems, subsystems and work products are verified against their requirements in a written plan
• Conduct and participate in peer-reviews of system designs to ensure the network hardware and configuration meets the technical requirements and conforms with established technical standards
• Requires an ability to effectively communicate with multiple stakeholders and Government representatives at various levels of the company and work collaboratively with others in a team environment
• Regularly works to achieve operational objectives within the job area with direct impact on department results
• Support ongoing operations and sustainment by providing Tier 4 support for deployed systems.

Qualifications:

You'll Bring These Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and a minimum of 10 years Linux Systems Administration or Network Engineering experience. Additional experience may be substituted for degree.
• A current TS/SCI with a CI Poly is required to start and FS Poly is required.
• Advanced knowledge and experience in system administration processes including at least one of the following certifications: CCNA, Network+ CE, Security+ CE, CASP+ CE, CISA.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Network administration experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux OS and Cisco infrastructure.
• Extensive experience configuring Cisco 9000 series switches and Firepower Firewalls and be able to perform troubleshooting.
• Experience with Ticket tracking tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence)
• You also will support ISSO and ISSEs in obtaining and maintaining security certification and accreditation.
• Maximizes network performance by monitoring performance; troubleshooting network problems and outages; scheduling upgrades; collaborating with network architects on network optimization.
• Creation of network boundary diagrams, syslog forwarding configuration, Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE), RADIUS and/or TACACS+, and management of ACLs.
• Applying DISA STIGs.
• Hardening techniques for Cisco devices.
• Updating/flashing firmware on Cisco IOS and/or ASA devices.
• Must be willing to meet all customer requirement
