Engagement focused on upgrading infrastructure to VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) 9
Buildout of a new 4-node management cluster
Provide onsite VCF support to the Data Center team
Work alongside a highly experienced STRIKE team (strong VCF/VxRail expertise)
Requires availability of a high-level NSX SME during key phases of deployment
Job Description
Lead/support upgrade to VCF 9 in an enterprise data center environment
Design and deploy a new 4-node management cluster within VCF
Provide expert-level guidance on NSX architecture, implementation, and optimization
Support VCF operations, troubleshooting, and integration with existing infrastructure
Collaborate closely with the STRIKE team to execute deployment and resolve issues
Perform validation, testing, and post-deployment support
Troubleshoot complex issues across compute, storage, and networking layers
Required
10+ years of experience (minimum)
Strong hands-on expertise with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF)
Deep expertise in NSX (NSX-T) - SME level
Proven experience with VCF upgrades or greenfield deployments
Experience with hyperconverged infrastructure, preferably Dell EMC VxRail
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in enterprise environments
Ability to work onsite and collaborate with high-level engineering teams
Active Top Secret Clearance

Prior experience in DoD / classified environments
Experience supporting large-scale, mission-critical infrastructure
Familiarity with VCF lifecycle management and automation tools
Strong documentation and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, high-expertise environments
