Chipton-Ross is seeking multiple Security Coordinators 1's for a contract opportunity in Redondo Beach, CA.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
o Must be a US Citizen. o Must have or have recently held an active Department of Defense (DoD) Security Clearance (TS/SCI). o Requires the ability to exercise sound judgment and immediately report any suspicious or no-compliant activities. o Must be able to attend required security briefings and training prior to job assignments. o Ability to walk and stand for prolonged periods of time required. o Security Coordinators are also required to remain physically present and alert at all times in the approved work area with the uncleared personnel.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Looking for a Security Coordinator 1 to support our Security department. As a member of the Security department, you'll be conducting Security Escorts in restricted areas. Responsibilities Escort uncleared personnel operating inside restricted areas. Monitor activities in, near, and around secured spaces and track onside movement of uncleared contractors. Ensure the safeguarding of all classified locations, including monitoring activities of contractor's personnel during the maintenance in secured buildings and comply with all Company Policy and Procedures.
REQUIERD EDUCATION:
High School Diploma/GED is required. School must be accredited.
WORK HOURS:
This position will be on-call/Part-Time status with a flexible schedule. This position will serve on-site at Redondo Beach, Space Park Site.
MISCELLANEOUS:
Applicants responding to this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements by currently possessing the ability to view classified government information.
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
