Job Description
What You Will Do
• Support transitioning a system that is tightly coupled to the underlying infrastructure
• Assist with architecture, design, development, integration, and support of build, integration & test, and deployment pipelines
• Leverage company and industry best practices and capabilities to improve scalability, consistency, infrastructure efficiency, reduce deployment time, and automate configuration management
• Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and other agile development teams to design and implement robust platform solutions
• Integrate security and compliance into the platform with services such as encryption and access management
• Provide operational support for the platform
Qualifications You Must Have
• Typically requires BS/BA Degree in Science, Technology Engineering Math (STEM) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or Physics and 5 years of related work experience
• Experience designing, implementing, and integrating platform infrastructure services using technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker
• Experience with programming/scripting languages (E.g. Python, Java, Ruby, Bash, C++, C#, Go)
• Experience with RedHat Linux
• Active and Current TS/SCI / CI Poly issued security clearance is required day 1. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
We Prefer • Experience deploying, configuring, and supporting CICD Pipelines tools (E.g. Jira, Confluence, Bit Bucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, Gitlab) • Experience with troubleshooting applications & infrastructure services on Linux based Operating Systems • Experience with automation frameworks such as Terraform, Ansible, and Chef • Experience developing, testing & delivering applications w/in a DevSecOps framework • Background in COTS/FOSS product installation, configuration, and integration • Must meet DoD 8570 IAT level II requirements (Security + CE or equivalent)
