Job Description
A current U.S. Government Security clearance is not required at start, but will be processed for one; U.S. citizenship required. Can also consider candidates with current Secret or TS level clearance.
Summary:
• Develop custom software components and integrate open-source code for cloud platforms.
• Design and implement core software architecture.
• Manage virtual infrastructure and implement CI/CD pipelines.
• Work with Big Data systems, applying Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Leverage strong systems integration skills across various technologies.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 9+ years
• Salary: $271k+ yearly compensation
Job Description:
• Develop and integrate custom software components and open-source code for cloud platforms.
• Design, implement, and maintain robust core software architecture.
• Manage and optimize virtual infrastructure environments.
• Implement, manage, and enhance Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Work with and manage Big Data systems and related technologies.
• Apply Agile methodologies and DevOps practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Perform complex systems integration across diverse technical stacks.
• Utilize expertise in AWS cloud services for platform development and deployment.
• Develop software using Python, Go, and Bash scripting.
• Administer and optimize Linux-based systems.
• Implement and manage container orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Automate infrastructure and configuration using Ansible and Puppet.
• Work with Big Data frameworks such as Hadoop.
• Manage source code and collaboration using Gitlab.
• Implement automated builds and deployments with Jenkins and Maven.
• Utilize JIRA and Confluence for project tracking and documentation.
• Manage and troubleshoot virtualized environments with VMWare.
