Job Description
A current U.S. Government Security clearance is not required at start, but will be processed for a Secret level clearance; U.S. citizenship required. Can also consider candidates with a current Secret or TS level clearance.
Summary:
• Design and develop custom software solutions, integrating open-source components and modern technologies.
• Manage and maintain virtual infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
• Implement and optimize Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline software delivery.
• Utilize Agile methodologies and tools for efficient project management, collaboration, and iterative development.
• Work with large-scale data processing and scripting for system automation and operational efficiency.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 9+ years
• Salary: $271k+ yearly compensation
Job Description:
• Develop, test, and deploy custom software applications using Go and other relevant programming languages.
• Administer and maintain Linux-based operating environments and systems.
• Design, implement, and manage virtual infrastructure with technologies such as Kubernetes, Ansible, Puppet, and VMWare.
• Implement and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines utilizing Gitlab and Jenkins/Hudson for automated software delivery.
• Leverage AWS cloud services for deploying scalable, resilient, and secure applications.
• Work with big data technologies, including Hadoop, and manage cloud repository solutions.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Bash to streamline operational tasks and system configurations.
• Apply Agile/Scrum methodologies and best practices for project planning, execution, and team collaboration.
• Utilize project management and documentation tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
• Ensure adherence to system security standards and best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Manage code versioning, branching, and merging using Git.
• Employ Maven for build automation, dependency management, and project management.
