Job Opportunity: Secret Senior IA Engineer
• Type: 6-month Contract-to-Perm
• Worker Type: On-site
• Worksite Location: Montgomery, AL
• Hourly Rate on Contract: $48-51/hr
• Conversion Salary: $130,000
• Schedule: 1st shift; 7a-3p

Job Description
Position: Senior Cybersecurity / IA Analyst
Experience Required: 5+ years supporting DoD environments
Key Responsibilities:
• Utilize ACAS/Nessus and manage vulnerability assessments.
• Conduct incident analysis and ensure security compliance.
• Manage Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) and maintain hardware/software inventory controls.
• Employ defense-in-depth architectures to bolster cybersecurity measures.
• Generate reports and communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.

Required Skills and Experience
• Cybersecurity/IA Experience:
• Minimum of 5 years in DoD or government environments.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in vulnerability scanning and compliance tools (ACAS/Nessus, DISA STIGs).
• Strong background in vulnerability management (analysis, prioritization, remediation).
• Experience managing POA&Ms, MFRs, and security documentation.
• Analytical Skills:
• Conduct, review, and validate vulnerability scans; report findings clearly.
• Enforce hardware/software asset control for network security.
• Incident Response:
• Experience in cyber incident analysis, log review, and incident tracking.

Nice to Have Skills and Experience
• Experience in enclave-level environments.
• Familiarity with RMF, ATO processes, and ongoing authorization activities.
• SOC or incident response experience in a DoD environment.
• Contribution to monthly/quarterly security reports.
• Additional Hands-on Experience in:
• Scanning environments, tool licensing, credential management, and asset refreshes.

Certifications
• Active DoD 8570/8140 IA Level III-compliant certification (e.g., CISSP, CASP+, CISM).
• Previous experience working directly with government customers.
• Active security clearance recommended.
