The engineer will collaborate closely with development teams to enhance usability, resolve design challenges, and deliver mission-focused user experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop intuitive, user-centered interfaces for enterprise applications
- Apply UI/UX best practices to improve usability and user engagement
- Modernize and enhance existing data tracking and metrics systems
- Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to translate requirements into effective UI solutions
- Troubleshoot and resolve UI/UX and design-related issues
- Ensure consistency, accessibility, and responsiveness across interfaces
- Contribute to front-end architecture and design standards
- Provide technical leadership and guidance on UI/UX strategies and implementation
Minimum Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline
- Substitution: Four (4) additional years of Software Engineering experience on similar projects may be substituted for a bachelor's degree
- Twenty (20) years of Software Engineering experience
- Alternative: Twenty-four (24) years of experience without a degree
Required Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of Linux environments
- Experience with CSS, JavaScript, and HTML
- Experience supporting UI design and front-end development
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve design-related issues
- Demonstrated UI/UX development experience and application of best practices
Desired Qualifications
- Experience modernizing legacy systems and improving user experience
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks and responsive design techniques
- Experience collaborating across multidisciplinary development teams
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and usability testing methods
