Insight Global is looking for a Security Specialist to provide general administrative support to one of our customer locations in the Pentagon. This individual will assist in monitoring and maintaining the security of our customer’s Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications Systems (JWICS) Hotel, ensuring continuous coverage and support. They will also:
• Provide support to DoD personnel as required concerning clearance information and issues with locks, alarm systems, and maintenance of GSA containers in OUSD(R&E) spaces.
• Run queries of the Defense Information System for Security (DISS) database for clearance information.
• Provide guidance to DoD personnel on Classification and Declassification, including conducting Original Classification Authority / Derivative Classification trainings as required.
Requirements:
• TS clearance with SCI eligibility
• Bachelors Degree and 1 year of experience, or 6 years of experience with HS diploma
• Experience working in a SCIF or classified environment
• Strong communication skills, willingness to tackle problems head-on
• Basic security experience (Physical, Access control, personnel security, DISS knowledge) would be a plus
