Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) Operations Manager
The PKI Operations Manager (Lead) handles all unexpected team decisions. Hosts meetings and keeps projects organized and prioritized. Oversees task delegation and projects for PKI Registration Authority Officers (RAO) and Local Registration Authority Officers (LRA) throughout the DOE/NNSA enterprise.

If the position is covered by the Counterintelligence Evaluation Program regulations at 10 CFR part 709, the announcement should also alert applicants that successful completion of a counterintelligence evaluation may include a counterintelligence-scope polygraph examination.

- Providing training per PKI policies
- Supporting decisions related to RAO operations
- Performing Certificate Authority (CA) functions
- Managing CA updates and schedules
The role requires expertise in:
- Drafting policies and procedures
- Handling daily operations
- Creating and managing roles within the PKI Credentialing Management System (CMS)
- Implementing Service Now for token lifecycle tracking
Additional duties involve:
- Onboarding/offboarding trusted roles
- Coordinating training and approvals
- Provisioning access
- Responding to unique requests or events,
- Managing both physical and logical security controls of PKI equipment and spaces.
