Kentro is hiring for Full Stack Developer III to support our Intelligence Community (IC) customer. The Full Stack Developer III will lead and develop technical solutions and complex technology implementations to satisfy client requirements. The Full Stack Developer III will use modern, open-source software and relational/non-relational database technologies to prototype and deploy backend web applications and services including all aspects of server-side processing, data storage, and integration with frontend development.
Location: Hybrid / Charlottesville VA
Responsibilities
• Perform as the development team lead during Agile ceremonies
• Manage product configuration, code quality, and create deployment builds
• Design custom ETL processes for multiple data feeds in multiple formats to include file drop, REST feeds, messaging feeds, and direct database ingest.
• Develop unit test cases and integrate into a pipeline
• Design and document system components and application program interfaces
• Work with the development team and product owner to groom the backlog, prioritize requirements, and develop requirement realization roadmaps.
• Develop user stories estimating complexity and level of effort to inform sprint and release planning.
• Recommend languages, technologies, tools and techniques to enhance security, performance, scalability, and maintainability of software products
• Support client change management activities related to product definition and delivery approach.
• Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
Qualifications
• Proven ability to design, implement and build service architectures using tools like Rabbit, Postgres, Mongo, ElasticSearch, RabbitMQ, Node and Angular.
• Experience with multiple languages to include Java/SpringBoot, Python, Angular, and JavaScript.
• Proficient with Git, Stash, Docker, and Terraform.
• Familiarity with cloud environments and AWS/C2S deployment.
• High proficiency in relational and non relational databases, Including Postgres, and MongoDB, to include schema design, data definition, and advanced queries.
• Experience using JSON in a REST architecture.
Preferred Qualifications:
• BS/BA with 8+ or MS/MA; 5+ years of relevant experience.
• DoD Directive 8570, IAT Level II certification eqivalent (e.g. CompTIA Security+)
• Experience implementing Risk Management Framework security controls for software products.
• Experience managing software development projects using JIRA and Confluence
Clearance Requirement:
• Must have an active Top Secret/SCI with the ability to obtain CI Poly.
