Summary:
• Lead the development and maintenance of complex software systems, focusing on critical engineering challenges.
• Drive Algorithm Development, Requirements Analysis, and comprehensive Software Testing to ensure robust solutions.
• Design and implement advanced Database Engineering interfaces and complex data queries.
• Provide strategic Technical Team Leadership for software development teams, guiding project execution and innovation.
• Collaborate extensively with Systems Engineering and Hardware Engineering teams to achieve seamless integration and system performance.
• Leverage expertise in key technologies including Python, Kotlin, Java, Terraform, Elasticsearch, Amazon OpenSearch, AWS, Embedded Systems, and Dataflow architectures.

• Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 20+ years
• Salary: $340k+ yearly compensation
Job Description:
• Lead and perform full lifecycle Software Development, from conceptualization through deployment.
• Conduct advanced Algorithm Development, including design, implementation, and optimization.
• Drive detailed Requirements Analysis, translating operational needs into technical specifications.
• Execute thorough Software Testing and Integration and Test (I&T) activities to ensure system integrity.
• Design, implement, and manage complex Dataflow architectures.
• Apply strong Mathematics principles to solve intricate engineering problems.
• Develop robust software solutions using Python, Kotlin, and Java programming languages.
• Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform for automated deployment and management.
• Utilize and manage data storage and search platforms such as Elasticsearch and Amazon OpenSearch.
• Design and develop solutions leveraging Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud capabilities.
• Work with Embedded Systems, including design, development, and integration.
• Perform comprehensive Database Engineering, covering design, implementation, and advanced querying.
• Provide clear and concise Communications/Technical Writing for documentation, reports, and presentations.
• Collaborate closely with Systems Engineering to ensure system architecture alignment and performance.
• Offer strong Technical Team Leadership, mentoring and guiding software development teams.
• Interface effectively with Hardware Engineering teams for integrated system development.
