Role - Systems Integrator (Mid-level)
Clearance - TS/SCI Position
Location - Chantilly, VA or Patriot Ridge(Springfield, VA)
Salary - $105K Yearly
The Mid-Level Integration Engineer supports the design and implementation of enterprise integration solutions across complex systems environments within the National System of Geospatial-Intelligence (NSG), Allied System of Geospatial-Intelligence (ASG), and federal partners. This role ensures interoperability across applications and systems, enabling seamless end-to-end mission execution while maintaining the integrity of a system-of-systems architecture. Working closely with systems engineers, solution architects, and developers, this position plays a key role in aligning technical requirements, supporting integration strategies, and contributing to modernization efforts across distributed and cloud-enabled environments.
Duties:
Support the development and implementation of integration solutions across enterprise systems and subsystems.
Analyze and define integration and interface requirements to ensure system interoperability.
Provide a holistic systems perspective, understanding dependencies across hardware, software, and network components.
Analyze, design, test, and evaluate networked systems, including cloud-based environments, LAN/WAN infrastructure, satellite communications, and distributed systems.
Support implementation approaches leveraging both custom-built and commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) technologies.
Assist in developing and documenting integration strategies and technical solutions.
Contribute to data management practices that treat data as a strategic enterprise resource.
Support planning and implementation of IT infrastructure, including telecommunications (LAN/WAN, voice, video), cabling, cloud requirements, and network security.
Assist the Government in managing system development, modernization, and migration efforts.
Support Enterprise Integration Engineering activities across cross-system and segment initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience:
6+ to 12 yrs experience
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, MIS, or related STEM field. 6 years' of equivalent mid-level Systems Engineering/Integration experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Minimum of 6 years' of Mid-level Systems Engineering/Integration experience in government or industry.
Experience in database management and/or Big Data analysis within government or industry environments.
Desired Skills & Experiences:
Working knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies, tools, and languages.
