ASRC Federal Systems Solutions LLC, a subsidiary of ASRC Federal, is seeking a MOC Operator to join our team in Colorado Springs, CO supporting Space Force Maintenance tracking and management of satellite, network, and command and control systems. This position is responsible for overseeing maintenance operations center (MOC) activities, ensuring system performance, and exercising independent judgment in the assessment, prioritization, and resolution of operational issues impacting mission-critical systems across multiple Space Force Mission Delta Maintenance activities.

ASRC Federal Systems Solutions LLC, a subsidiary of ASRC Federal, is seeking a MOC Operator to join our team in Colorado Springs, CO supporting Space Force Maintenance tracking and management of satellite, network, and command and control systems. This position is responsible for overseeing maintenance operations center (MOC) activities, ensuring system performance, and exercising independent judgment in the assessment, prioritization, and resolution of operational issues impacting mission-critical systems across multiple Space Force Mission Delta Maintenance activities.
Essential Duties:
- Determines appropriate escalation pathways for incident and status reporting based on mission impact and operational priorities.
- Direct or coordinate problem resolution responsibility between maintenance agencies and track resolution status.
- Receives Mission Impact Reports, direct maintenance personnel as required and ensure documentation of equipment status/malfunctions into MPR database.
- Independently identify applicable maintenance data and enter into IMDS or other applicable systems for reportable maintenance actions.
- Assigns, tracks, and documents status for all Job Control Numbers, tracks equipment and maintenance status, requests assistance from supporting agencies, coordinate maintenance and supply requests and disseminate information.
- Monitors power outages impacting mission operations and equipment and directing maintenance actions when necessary.
- Processes Urgent Depot Level Maintenance and Emergency Depot Level Maintenance requests.
- Reviews and updates open outage data identifying anomalies and directing actions for resolution.
- Monitors and evaluates system performance and equipment status, exercising independent judgment to identify anomalies and determine appropriate escalation or corrective actions.
- Serves as a central coordination point for incident and status reporting, ensuring accurate and timely communication to stakeholders and leadership.
- Assesses mission impact of system degradations and directs appropriate response actions across maintenance and support organizations.
- Coordinates and prioritizes maintenance activities across multiple agencies, ensuring timely resolution of operational issues and alignment with mission requirements.
- Analyzes outage and performance data to identify trends, recommend corrective actions, and improve system reliability.
- Oversees the management of Job Control Numbers, ensuring proper prioritization, tracking, and resolution in alignment with mission priorities.
- Makes determinations regarding urgent and emergency maintenance requests, including Depot Level Maintenance actions, based on mission impact and operational risk.
- Provides operational insight and recommendations to improve processes, reporting accuracy, and mission effectiveness.
- Ensures integrity and accuracy of maintenance and operational data within IMDS and MPR systems, validating inputs and resolving discrepancies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Active DOD Secret clearance is required. US Citizenship is required for Secret clearance at this location.
- Five or more years of related experience in satellite and/or ground segment operations is required
- Knowledge of satellite communications, earth observation missions, as well as mission operation ground infrastructure (e.g. ESOC, DLR, etc.)
- Experience in the field of space and operations is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgment in mission-critical operations and/or maintenance
