The expected annual salary range: $130k - $142k. Salary is dependent upon the role and associated responsibilities, candidate's experience, and qualifications to include education/training, and key skills.

- Provide financial management support across acquisition program lifecycles, including pre-engineering, development, testing, fielding, and sustainment phases
- Assist in preparing, developing, and executing program budgets, funding documentation, and financial reports in accordance with DoD and Air Force comptroller policies
- Perform budget forecasting, execution tracking, and variance analysis to support program decision-making
- Conduct Earned Value Management (EVM) analysis, including cost, schedule, and performance integration reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and execution issues, and recommend corrective actions
- Support program managers with financial insights to improve budget alignment, funding strategies, and program execution efficiency
- Identify and resolve accounting or funding discrepancies and ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations
- Develop and deliver financial documentation, reports, and briefings for leadership and program stakeholders
- Utilize automated financial management and reporting systems to perform data analysis, tracking, and reporting functions
- Conduct schedule and cost performance assessments to support integrated program planning and execution reviews
- Apply analytical methods and financial modeling techniques to evaluate program health and resource utilization
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing financial systems, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency
- Support ad hoc financial analysis requests and assist program offices with funding-related problem solving
- Other duties as assigned.
Selected candidate shall have:
- Knowledge of the policies, concepts, procedures, techniques, and methodologies pertaining to analysis of financial data.
- Knowledge of DoD acquisition requirements, development, and approval processes.
- Knowledge of DoD contracting types, contract structure, contract line-item financing, and funding clauses relevant to spend plan formulation and forecasting.
- Skill in formulating, justifying, and/or analyzing financial requirements of an acquisition or sustainment program.
- Ability to communicate, plan, and organize work and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work in teams under short deadlines.
- Ability to gather, assemble, and analyze data using financial systems to prepare budget estimates, develop alternatives, and make recommendations to resolve budget/funding problems.
Qualifications:
- Must be a US citizen
- Active Secret Clearance
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years working within a DoD setting
