Job Description
As the Cybersecurity Lead for the Air National Guard Base Infrastructure Modernization (BIM) contract, you will serve as the primary liaison to U.S. Government (USG) Risk Management Framework (RMF) personnel, participating in critical cybersecurity meetings to ensure project alignment with federal mandates.

Responsibilities
- You are responsible for ensuring that all system designs, baselines, and procedures embed DISA STIGs and NIST RMF controls to achieve Authority to Operate (ATO) readiness.
- Your role involves managing eMASS artifact generation, interpreting cybersecurity service provider expectations, and coordinating vulnerability scans (ACAS) alongside system acceptance test deliverables.
- You will oversee the cybersecurity integration plan, enforcing secure sequencing across systems and mapping control inheritance.
- Throughout the installation and qualification phases, you will validate security hardening, oversee vulnerability remediation, and conduct security regression during cutover.
- Additionally, you will lead STIG applicability reviews, validate scan results, and resolve technical findings rapidly to maintain a robust security posture through final system acceptance.
- Plans and implements security measures to protect computer systems, networks, and data from loss and service interruptions. Analyzes and documents security risks, breaches, and other cyber security incidents and the damage they cause.
- Develops and implements a network disaster recovery plan and oversees the monitoring of the computer networks for security issues.
- Collaborates with the security team to perform tests and find network weaknesses.
- Researches and keeps current on the latest IT intelligence technologies, trends, and security standards. Performs work with a high degree of latitude.
- Handles the most complex issues. Possesses expert knowledge of subject matter. May act as a lead.
Qualifications
- An active DoD Secret clearance is required for consideration.
- Bachelor's degree plus 8 years of relevant experience; 4 additional years of applicable work experience may be substituted for a degree.
- Must hold and maintain a professional certification in accordance with DoD 8140/DCWF (e.g., CISSP, CISM, Security+, SecurityX/CASP+, or equivalent).
- Proven experience navigating the DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) process and utilizing eMASS for artifact management.
- Deep technical knowledge of DISA STIGs, NIST security controls, and ACAS/Nessus vulnerability scanning.
- Demonstrated experience in security hardening, vulnerability remediation, and maintaining security integrity during complex system cutovers and integrations.
Preferred Qualification:
